COASTAL SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM
The
CT16000 Coastal Surveillance System is a rugged coastal target
acquisition system that uses thermal imaging, visual optics and
a laser range-finder to find and accurately locate ships and
vessels from the shoreline. It also calculates vessel position
using measured angular offsets and range from its own position.
The thermal imager enables detection of targets at long range in
darkness and poor weather conditions. The CT16000 is simple to
use and easy to install.
STARLIGHT SURVEILLANCE CAMERA
The
LIC400M Starlight Surveillance Camera has been specifically
designed for applications that require medium range surveillance
down to starlight. The camera uses a very fast catadioptric lens
coupled to a gated intensified CCD detector, and carbon fibre
components to minimize weight. Subject to export restrictions
either Gen II or Gen III gated intensifiers may be specified.
The LIC400M will have particular benefit where active
illumination is not possible and where detailed target
recognition precludes the use of a thermal imager.
LOW LIGHT LEVEL SURVEILLANCE CAMERA
The
camera is based on a very fast F1.2 lens combined with the
latest generation solid-state cooled detector, which overcomes
the life expectancy problems of image intensifiers and is
capable of operating with very bright light sources in the
scene. The camera operates in illumination levels from sunlight
to starlight and is ideally suited to 24-hour imaging
applications. The camera meets the stringent environmental and
EMC requirements of most military applications. The major
advantage of the camera is its capability to operate in low
light level conditions, which may have bright point sources.
This provides a significant tactical advantage compared with
typical intensified cameras.
MOBILE CONTROLLERS
This controller has been developed to provide
reliable, intuitive control of a wide range of multi-sensor
surveillance systems from a common man-machine interface. Single
and dual screen versions are available with touch-panel controls
to augment the fully proportional joystick and high-resolution,
fine-control wheel for focus and zoom. A source selection
processor and dedicated screen may be added to enable real-time
system configuration and product routing.

THERMAL IMAGERS TIS600
The TIS600 System Thermal Imaging Camera is
an affordable solution for base and border surveillance. The
imager uses advanced processing to provide clear images ideal
for daily surveillance activities and is specifically intended
to support a daylight channel in its system role.
MEDIUM RANGE SURVEILLANCE CAMERA
The DCM1200 Medium Range Surveillance Camera
offers very high performance with wide bandwidth zoom
capability. The camera uses a dual color, monochrome sensor to
provide high-resolution imagery and is primarily intended for
human identification at up to four km, providing high contrast
high-clarity imagery.
SOLAR POWERED PASSIVE IR SENSOR POST
The PIR40-3 Solar-Powered Passive Infra Red
Sensor Post enables remote detection of activity up to three km
from the monitoring location. The post has three PIR sensors,
providing linear detection coverage of 80m. The posts may be
used in groups to protect the areas or assets such as aircraft
or buildings, or used in lines to augment existing fences and
provide a secondary or early warning of intrusion. Each sensor
post has a unique identification number, which is transmitted
with the alarm message. The post provides alarms on low power
and tamper if the post is moved.
LONG RANGE ILLUMINATOR
The NIR5 range of active illuminators is
designed for applications where long-range identification is
required in total darkness. The illuminator uses a laser diode
array to create a divergent beam which paints IR illumination
onto the target. When used with a compatible wavelength camera
significant detail can be realized in total darkness. The NIR5
is available in a number of wavelengths to suit specific
applications.
LONG RANGE SURVEILLANCE CAMERA
The
BRC3K has been specifically designed to provide high precision
positioning for long range surveillance applications, with
minimal impact of wind-driven torque on image stability. The use
of iDrive servos in each of the axes, together with the low
polar inertia of the centrally located payload, enables accurate
trapezoidal velocity profiles to be translated for precision
programmable tracking with extremely smooth acceleration.
The
DCC3000 is a very high performance dual channel changeover
camera which uses a high resolution color detector for
surveillance tasks in daylight and a cooled solid-state low
light level camera at night. The camera uses a very long focal
length high-resolution lens. This is also a highly advances and
versatile surveillance tool designed for applications which
demand high resolution imagery for long range surveillance and
intelligence gathering.
HIGH RESOLUTION PLATFORM
The HRD400 has become a leading platform for
target acquisition on vehicles and fixed installations. The
platform has a high payload capacity and can be used in harsh
environmental and EMC applications. The yoke structure
accurately supports sensor payloads for precision surveillance
activities. This is not just a high precision targeting platform
but may also be specified as a surveillance platform for use in
base protection roles alongside military communications
equipments.
The HRD700 is designed for external use in
harsh environments. The platforms will find applications where
very long focal length lenses are being used. They have a long
service life even when installed on masts and are equally
capable for use in harsh low temperatures as it is in desert
border surveillance applications.
The HRD500 is widely used in harsh military
applications. The high reliability platform is ideally suited to
mast mounting for 24/7 use. The platform uses high accuracy
sensors for target location in coastal and border surveillance
applications. This is also ideal for use with military vehicles
where several sensors are used within the electro-optical suite.
The platform offers easy integration with Radar and alarm-based
systems.
